The College of IT established a new postgraduate program in Software Engineering to address the growing need for professionals in this sophisticated field. Software engineering is a systematic approach to software development, operation and maintenance. Graduates can systematically develop, operate, maintain and retire large software systems and take part in software engineering research projects. The Software Engineering curriculum encompasses all important aspects of software engineering, including: requirements engineering, software architecture and design, software construction, software testing and quality assurance, software maintenance, and software project management.

- Design Engineer: Design and implement the software modules of a system.

General entry requirements:
To be eligible an applicant must either be a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or studies leading to such a degree.
Specific entry requirements:
Bachelor´s degree with a Major in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Multimedia System, Computer Engineering or any degree leading to Information Technology.
English Language Proficiency:
- TOEFL: ITP 500 or ITB 6.
- National Exam 65
