This study aimed to identify the impact of challenges in metaverse implementation in Jordan tourism, the study also showed the dimensions of the challenges represented in (infrastructure, Internet culture, budget, and advertising campaigns), in addition to the dimensions of Metaverse technology represented in (virtual reality, augmented reality, avatar, natural interface). A random sample of (285) employees working in the Ministry of Tourism and tourism companies that provide inbound tourism services was selected, the analytical descriptive approach was used to achieve the objectives of the study, many results were reached, the most important of which was the existence of a statistically significant impact of the challenges with their combined dimensions on the implementation of the Metaverse technology with its combined dimensions, the study also found a statistically significant effect of each of the infrastructure, Internet culture, budget, and advertising campaigns on the implementation of metaverse technology in Jordanian tourism. In the light of the results, the study recommended learning more about the different aspects of the Metaverse and how it can be used in many sectors, and the need to pay attention to the technology infrastructure in Jordan to be able to absorb the various technological developments, it also recommended the development of various applications of Metaverse technology to meet the requirements of tourists that will provide them with unique and comprehensive experiences.
