This study investigates the impact of using big data on the performance of the medical sector in Jordan at Al-Bashir Hospital as a case study. Big data includes (infrastructure, variety, security and privacy, and quality) in addition to the sector performance includes (user performance, patient care, communication between Physician-Patient) are examined in this study. A stratified random sample of 385 administrators and employees working at Al-Bashir Hospital, using the Hakeem program is selected. After examining and excluding incomplete and invalid questionnaires, the analysis was performed on 378 questionnaires, representing 94.5% of the distributed questionnaires. A descriptive analytical approach is used to achieve the study objectives. Given the analysis done, the results indicate that using big data impacts the total performance of the medical sector. Based on these findings, the study recommended the need for further research to analyze the various dimensions of using big data on the medical sector's performance. Besides, it emphasized the importance of authorities and officials in Jordan showing interest in big data's development, utilization, and activation to foster growth in different sectors. as it is considered the future oil and the fuel for the new economy across all sectors."
