The Faculty of Arts organized a seminar entitled “Power-Knowledge between East and West”

The Faculty of Arts/Departments of English Language, Literature, and Translation, and under the patronage of Professor Fouad Shatiyat, Dean of Arts, have organized a seminar entitled “Power-Knowledge between East and West” that was attended by faculty members and students. 

During the seminar, Dr. Asma Jahamah discussed the theory of power-knowledge, and its association with the aftermath of 9/11 in terms of defining terrorism and resistance.

The seminar was concluded by answering students’ questions and engaging in various discussions around the topic.
