\u00a0Isra University and the Royal Geographical Center signed a memorandum of understanding to consolidate the partnership and extend the cooperation between the two parties to keep pace with technological development in geographic information systems.<\/div>\n
\u00a0The memorandum of understanding was signed by His Excellency Prof. Muhammad Musa Hamed, President of the University and the General Director of their Center, His Excellency Brigadier General Engineer Muammar Kamel Haddadin.<\/div>\n
In the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Al-Disi (Director of the Center for Consultation, Training, Continuing Education and Community Development), and the accompanying delegation from the Royal Geographical Centre.<\/div>\n
\u00a0The memorandum included holding joint training courses in advanced geographic information systems, spatial analysis of geographic data, three-dimensional analysis of geographic data, building geographic databases, analyzing road networks and publishing maps on the web.<\/div>\n
Moreover, Haddadin stressed that the Center is working hard to provide the Kingdom with all forms of support and expertise and to train technicians in the field of cadastral sciences, maps, geographic information systems and remote sensing techniques, to assist in issues and events that concern the Kingdom and achieve the public good, as the Center puts all its capabilities to various national institutions, whether governmental or Private.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of partnership with the private educational sector through exchanging experiences, holding such agreements and memorandums of understanding, which reflect positively on both parties, and utilizing the available information and knowledge to serve the community.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
