Isra University represented by the University President,<\/strong> Prof.Dr. Mohammad Hamed<\/strong>\u00a0participated in the UNIMED General Assembly held at Istanbul Aydin University on October 23-24, 2024. This two-day assembly brought together university presidents, government officials, and representatives from UNIMED\u2019s network spanning 28 countries.<\/p>\n

The event offered an invaluable platform for setting the stage for a full and rich year of initiatives, activities and conferences that shape the academic calendar around the Mediterranean. The event covered many aspects such as: UNIMED activities and future plans, empowering the future workforce, the Rise of Micro-Credentials in Higher Education, Career guidance and development support system in addition to the UNIMED Initiative on Climate Change.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that, based on the role of universities in preserving the right of education for students in all circumstances, the UNIMED Assembly of this year has been titled in \u201cBOOSTING UNIVERSITY ALLIANCES FOR PEACE AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM\u201d.<\/p>\n
