The impact of implementing total quality management principles on the organizational excellence -case study the ministry of agriculture in Jordan

This study aimed to identify of the Total quality management (continuous improvement, customer focus, and employee training) for workers in the Ministry of Agriculture on the organizational excellence.
To achieve this goal, the analytical descriptive approach was used for its suitability for the study. The study population consisted of all workers in the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture building, and the total population was (2600). Male and female employees and the study sample were selected from the employees working in the Ministry of Agriculture. They are (the department directors, department head, and employees). A random sample of (144) was selected and distributed among different directorates and departments; the breakdown of respondents was as follows; 30 directors, representing (20.7%) of the total sample, heads of departments, 48 responses were received from department heads representing (33.1%) of the sample population. Moreover, employees numbering 67 public employees, with a rate of (46.2%).
The study confirmed that there's a high correlation between the applications of total quality management on the organizational excellence, the relation was proved by the statistical analysis with high relation results, the application of the dimensions of the total quality management was the driver behind the achievement of excellence at the ministry of agriculture during the part period.
In light of the findings the researcher recommended several actions to be taken into consideration to enhance organizational excellence by the Ministry Of Agriculture (MOA) senior management, the recommendations included the implementation of continuous capacity building program to MOA staff as it resulted in outstanding impact on organizational excellence, employees would provide high level service to satisfy consumers which in turn would positively impact MOA, the continuous improvement in terms of system, the development of the system and updating the system resulted in a high advancement in the level of organizational excellence, the focus on customers was the driver behind achieving organizational excellence, the researcher advised the embed total quality management and all the its dimensions within the system of the ministry.
