  The advantages of adopting building information modeling BIM technology in Jordanian construction industry

In the last decade, the construction industry has undergone a major transformation in terms of the use of digital technologies, especially Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM is a revolutionary and practical digital technology that is reshaping the architecture, engineering and construction industry. This study aims to examine the impact of BIM on project growth, and compare between traditional project management and project management using BIM, and how it affects project delays, in addition to studying the general situation of construction projects in Jordan as a review of previous studies and reports related to the causes of project delays. To this end, the researcher makes a questionnaire to learn about the popularity of BIM and how it can help reduce delays in projects when using it, and then analyzes the results. The results of this study can support BIM technology in the construction industry in Jordan to deal with significant delays. By providing appropriate training and customer and government support, Ultimately, BIM technology is expected to be applied more widely in the Jordanian construction industry. This study lays the foundation for further in-depth research into the use of BIM as an effective tool to overcome delays in the construction industry in Jordan. From here ,The researcher recommends conducting many researches and studies on the importance of expanding the use of BIM in engineering projects of all kinds in Jordan, The researcher also recommends holding educational and awareness sessions on the necessity of using BIM in government sectors, and Conducting awareness meetings with the engineers in order to develop the BIM application
