This study seeks to explore the phenomenon of intertextuality in poetry of Tamim Barghouti,
taken from his poem "in Jerusalem" a model for analyzing poetic texts, the study considered
the intertextuality analysis into two types: Historical and lecturer to detect of the case dealt
with Barghouti in his poetry, namely the Palestinian cause, It followed the analytical approach
study investigating aspects of historical events and personalities of Intertextuality left its
impact in Islamic history and draw an old literary texts of literary intertextuality and especially
in Amr Ibn Kulthum poem and Ala Qader Ahl Al-Azm poem for Mutanabbi, Also the echoes
of modern Intertextuality in Bargouthi scripts especially with Mahmoud Darwish, the reader of
Barghouti poetry will find that the poet various modalities type in calling the literary texts and
historical events, to express his vision toward reality in which he lives, It was calling,
absorption and changing the most important tools to support the poet in its delivered his
thoughts and semantic content.
