As part of the university’s endeavor to raise the efficiency and capabilities of its students and qualify them for the labor market, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a visit to the United Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company as part of the practical industrial pharmacy course and under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Al Jaradat and Ms. Rasha Abu Dhawabah, applying the early exposure methodology.

The visit included enhancing the students’ knowledge and skills in the field of the pharmaceutical industry. During the visit, the students attended a lecture on the professional fields available to the pharmacist after graduation, the goal of having an alternative to any registered medicine on the market, the foundations of good manufacturing and the difference between the mechanisms for preparing drug mixtures, and the devices used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, the importance of controlling and monitoring pharmaceutical quality (Q.A and Q.C).

At the end of the visit, the Ms Pharma Group team accompanied the students on an introductory tour of the internal departments of the factory, including the Research and Development Department, Quality Control and Assurance Department, Pharmaceutical Forms Manufacturing Department - the entire production line.
