The Teaching Staff Performance Development Center (TSPDC) at Isra University strives to strengthen professional development through setting up training workshops to improve the level of performance for the teaching staff, as an uplift for the educational outcomes, and in the realisation of the university's vision and mission. The center also aims at establishing the comprehensive development concept as a basis for the faculties, departments, and educational programs through performance re-assessment, reconsidering the needed procedures for performance improvement, and developing systematic work through active communication. The center is also considered a reliable source for offering distinguished services offered to the teaching staff at Isra University to achieve the requisites of continuous development of their performance.

The TSPDC has established an integrated system for the development of the teaching staff in the fields of teaching, evaluation, research, and guidance to meet the ongoing challenges.

The tasks of the TSPDC include controlling the educational process and developing it, determining and following up the necessary development procedures for the teaching staff, continuous development of the educational outcomes and measuring their effectiveness; ensuring implementation of the procedures, their review and auditing; and following up their modifications; transfer of experiences and knowledge through setting up workshops on new methods of education and laying the foundations for updating the educational programs.

The TSPDC also aims at excellence and pioneering in the performance of the teaching staff. The vision and mission of the TSPDC are derived from the university’s vision and mission to establish the culture of improvement for the advancement of the university and to

effectively contribute to building a culture of creative educational competitiveness.

 

 

 The teaching staff development center at Isra University is the foundation for professionally developing the teaching staff performance levels as to achieve the university's vision, its pioneering mission, and achieve its distinction. It also enhances the skills of the teaching staff through conducting training programs and workshops.

In addition, the center has established a genuine program for performance development of the skills of the teaching staff in the fields of teaching, assessment, research, and guidance to meet the challenges under ongoing changes.

 

 

   The department’s primary role is the preparation of engineers from both majors through the implementation of academic programs required to obtain a bachelor's degree in the two majors through the education and training of students to make analysis, design, research and development.

   Also, the department make continues development of intellectual skills and the sense of geometric and keep abreast of scientific development in the both majors. These majors are of high importance in the public and private universities, and needed by the Jordanian labor market and the Arab and surrounding region.

    To achieve its objectives, the department adopts classified and accredited plans that agree with the special accreditation standards. These plans are implemented by modern teaching aids backed by practical applications in the department laboratories in addition to the field training.

    The department follows the latest references and books and provides the necessary scientific journals and periodicals.


Mission

Preparing communication and electronics engineers to be capable and competent in different scopes of industry, research and management by investing in capacity building and follow the latest related technologies and research outcomes.

1. Prepare well-qualified engineers who are able to use scientific and engineering principles to implement innovative solutions.
2. Graduating engineers with high abilities and skills that enable them to participate actively in scientific research in their areas of specialization.

4. Prepare graduates able to contribute effectively to scientific research.
5. Prepare graduates who are able to develop self-learning and are aware of the importance of engaging in continuous learning.

The E-Learning Center consistently endeavors to stay abreast of developments and advancements in the field of e-learning, aiming to provide cutting-edge technologies to faculty members and students at Al-Isra University. Consequently, the E-Learning Center presents a suite of systems designed to enhance e-learning processes and cater to all educational activities. The details of these systems are outlined below:

1. Moodle System:

Moodle serves as the cornerstone for all e-learning operations supported by the center at Al-Isra University. This comprehensive e-learning management system encompasses a range of educational tools and methods, including lectures, tests, assignments, evaluation mechanisms, forums, individual and collaborative blogs, announcements, course creation or import functionalities, and more. Additionally, it efficiently manages users and content.

2. Electronic Content Building System:

This system facilitates the creation and delivery of educational content anytime, anywhere. Leveraging a suite of technological programs, it establishes a multi-user environment, empowering developers, authors, and educational material designers to create, store, reuse, manage, and deliver electronic content.

3. Virtual Classroom System:

The Virtual Classroom System provides a platform for synchronous and asynchronous communication between lecturers and students, utilizing diverse means and advanced capabilities. This system

enables the remote conduct of study sessions, affording lecturers the opportunity to engage with students and deliver lectures online from any location and at any time.
