Based on the university’s vision and mission of community service and social responsibility, a group of faculty members from the faculty of Arts and the faculty of Information Technology participated in the nineteenth Amman Cultural Forum entitled: The Hashemite Thought (Literary, Political, and Social) at the Royal Cultural Center, which was held under the patronage of Her Excellency the Minister of Culture. Mrs. Haifa Najjar.
The forum covered several topics, including the role of the Hashemites in establishing the national state in the post-Ottoman rule, reviewing the emergence of the Faisalid state and the Iraqi Kingdom, pointing to the Hashemite Kingdom as "the most prominent in the modern history of the region."
