The Center for Leadership and Creativity at the university, in cooperation with the office of the German Academic Exchange Service in Jordan (DAAD), organized a lecture on its role in scientific and academic research and exchange, and providing educational opportunities and programs for university students to study in German universities, and it was presented by Benjamin Schmeling (director of the DAAD office). Mrs. Zeina Abdo, several faculty deans, members of the teaching and administrative staff, and a group of university students.

 

At the beginning of the lecture, Prof. Wafiqa Dhaher (Assistant to the President for International Affairs) noted the importance of scientific and cultural exchange, which expands scientific and humanitarian ties, stressing that cultural diversity is a wealth that has remarkable contributions to promoting constructive coexistence through dialogue, understanding, and nurturing mutual respect.

 

The lecture, which was moderated by Dr. Mike Haddad, Director of the Center for Leadership and Creativity, included a detailed explanation of the academic and teaching programs offered by German universities, in addition to the study programs and plans offered in English at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, the scientific and advisory services provided by (), the scholarships it provides in various scientific specializations targeting master’s and doctoral students and researchers, indicating the conditions that must be met by those wishing to obtain the scholarship and the conditional period of time, and the conditions required to benefit from project funding.

 

The German Academic Exchange Agency (DAAD) is considered one of the largest organizations supporting research and scientific and student exchange and represents a permanent contact center to serve researchers and students, to provide them with the necessary information about research and study opportunities in Germany.
