Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamed, President of the University, the Deanship of Student Affairs/Sports Activity Division organized a ceremony honoring the students who won the Badminton and Chess Championships in preparation for the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation Championships, where the tournament was held in the gym from November 19-28, 2023. With the participation of 71 male and female students for badminton and 48 male and female students for chess, The ceremony included the final badminton match for male and female students, and the results of the tournament were distributed as follows:
- Badminton Championship (students):
First place: Muhammad Al-Shamayleh - Civil Engineering.
Second place: Laith Abu Hussein - Software Engineering.
Third place: Moath Salhia - Pharmacy.
- Badminton Championship (female students):
First place: Maria Al-Dadaa - Psychology.
Second place: Tala Hamouda - Computer Science.
Third place: Raneem Safi - Cyber Security.
- Chess Championship ( male students):
First place: Ahmed Al-Qatawneh - Pharmacy.
Second place: Hamza Badr - Cyber Security.
Third place: Muhammad Samran - English Language and Literature.
- Chess Championship (female students):
First place: Walaa Al-Jabour - English Language and Literature.
Second place: Farah Hassan - Computer Science.
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the President of the University, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs and a number of deans, handed over cups and medals to those deserving of them.
