His Excellency Prof. Muhammad Musa Hamed, the President of the University, welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Al-Ajili, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Jordan, accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Salem Al-Wahaibi (First Secretary of the Cultural Department), and Dr. Abdullah Obaidat in his office.
At the beginning of the meeting, the prof., the university president, welcomed them all and reviewed the university’s history, its establishment, its facultys, its specializations, its scientific centers, its teaching programs, its research projects, and the specializations it offers for various academic degrees. He pointed out that the university seeks, through its specializations and facultys, to excel and embody the spirit of leadership and creativity in the quality of education, the originality of scientific research, and community service, and to prepare qualified and trained cadres that meet the requirements and needs of the labor market.
In turn, the meeting included discussing ways to enhance existing cooperation between the two sides, with His Excellency the President of the University stressing the depth of the distinguished relations between Isra University and the Omani Cultural Mission in Jordan.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Fahd Al-Ajili thanked the great interest that the university administration pays to the students, to the reputation of Isra University, and to the academic level it has reached in all fields.
