The Deanship of Student Affairs organized an awareness seminar for students of the Faculty of Law entitled Anti-Corruption and National Integrity Standards, in cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Commission, in the courtroom.
At the beginning of the symposium, Professor Dr. Bilal Al-Sakarna, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed Dr. Khaled Al-Qudah (Director of the Oversight Directorate of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission), explaining the role and importance of the Commission in combating corruption and spreading awareness among Jordanian society about the dangers of corruption and its political, social and economic damage to society.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shawabkeh, Dean of the Faculty of Law, pointed out the importance of educating students in the faculty and the importance of topics that develop skills and experiences that serve their future careers. The judges spoke about the importance of combating corruption in addressing issues and topics that harm society, the danger of committing such crimes on the security and stability of the state, the types and forms of corruption, whether administrative or financial, and the number of crimes that were seized by the Commission in cooperation with other official anti-corruption bodies. Dr. Khaled Al-Qudah praised the importance of the role of Isra University in spreading awareness among students by publishing such seminars.
