Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Muhammad Hamed, President of the University, the Deanship of Student Affairs/Sports Activity Division organized a ceremony honoring the winning students of the Badminton and Chess Championship in preparation of the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation Championships. The championship was held in the gym from (28/11/2023-19) with the participation of 71 male and female students for badminton and 48 male and female students for chess. It is important to highlight that the ceremony included the final badminton match for male and female students. The results of the championship were distributed as follows:
- Badminton Championship (students):
First place: Muhammad Al-Shamayleh - Civil Engineering.
Second place: Laith Abu Hussein - Software Engineering.
Third place: Moath Salhia - Pharmacy.
- Badminton Championship (female students):
First place: Maria Al-Dadaa - Psychology.
Second place: Tala Hamouda - Computer Science.
Third place: Raneem Safi - Cyber Security.
- Chess Championship (students):
First place: Ahmed Al-Qatawneh - Pharmacy.
Second place: Hamza Badr - Cyber Security.
Third place: Muhammad Samran - English Language and Literature.
- Chess Championship (female students):
First place: Walaa Al-Jabour - English Language and Literature.
Second place: Farah Hassan - Computer Science.
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Musa Hamid, President of the University, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs and a number of deans, delivered the cups and medals to those deserving them.
