His Excellency Prof. Muhammad Musa Hamed, President of the University, received in his office Mr. Muhammad Nasri bin Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia in Jordan, accompanied by Dr. Radwan Abdul Rashid, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Professor, President of the University, welcomed the delegation, and reviewed the history of Isra University, its establishment, its faculties, specializations, scientific centers, teaching programs, and research projects, and the international accreditations that it took the initiative to achieve and are just around the corner, pointing to the university’s keenness to attract students of different nationalities, as the university seeks, through its specializations and faculties, to excel and embody the spirit of leadership and creativity in the quality of education, the originality of scientific research, and community service, and to prepare qualified and trained cadres that meet the requirements and needs of the labor market.

The meeting included discussing frameworks for academic and cultural cooperation existing between the university and Malaysian universities.

For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador pointed out that public and private universities and branches of foreign universities called international universities in Malaysia enjoy a distinguished reputation in the field of higher education, and that they attract large numbers of international students at all levels of study, and that Malaysia has achieved a high ranking among the most attractive countries for students of different nationalities.

The visit included a tour of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s laboratories, which was attended by Prof. Wafiqa Dhaher (Assistant to the President for International Affairs), Prof. Samer Al-Ali (Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies), and Prof. Mira Ababneh (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy), during which His Excellency the Ambassador and the Advisor explained Cultural Council expressed their pride in this visit and informed them of the tangible development in the progress of Isra University, and the importance of cultural and scientific exchange between the two sides in a way that enriches the general level of university education in Jordan and Malaysia.
