Isra University in Jordan and the National University of Science and Technology in Pakistan signed two memorandums of understanding, the first of which dealt with students and the second of which dealt with faculty and administrative staff members. Both universities provide a higher education environment stimulating for cross-cultural partnerships to ensure the two-way flow of knowledge and keep pace with modern trends in promoting intellectual curiosity, behavioral progress, participation in the creation of knowledge among students, and challenging traditional practices in teaching and scientific research among faculty members.

The memorandums of understanding were signed remotely by His Excellency Professor Dr. Muhammad Musa Hamid, President of Isra University, and Engineer Javed Mahmood Bukhari, President of the National University of Science and Technology in Islamabad.
