His Excellency, Prof.Dr. Mohammad Hamed , President of the University, met with the deans of the faculties (Arts, Business, and Law) and faculty members.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the President of the University welcomed the new faculty members, calling for cooperation among the faculty members to achieve the university’s vision of purpose, quality, excellence and performance, praising the achievements achieved by Isra University.
The University President stressed the importance of keeping pace with scientific development, and the continuous pursuit of acquiring knowledge and skills to achieve a competitive, creative educational environment characterized by knowledge and empowerment, and providing academic guidance services, to solve many of the academic problems and difficulties faced by students that hinder their educational career. He proposed appropriate solutions that are consistent with the abilities and capabilities of students, methods that help in developing and modernizing their faculties in a way that serves the students and the university, and ways to ensure the success of the educational outcomes of graduate students. He called for the need to follow up on students continuously.
He also stressed that the university's strategic plan and the emerging executive plan came to draw a road map for hard work and creative achievement that achieves ambition in the academic and administrative fields and for the university to always be among the ranks of prestigious international universities.He pointed out that the university is in the process of reconsidering the incentives for scientific research and scientific citation to motivate researchers from the university’s teaching staff, due to the importance of scientific research in academic work and its effective impact on the university and society. He called on colleagues to develop the process of innovative scientific research and encourage them to establish research partnerships and urge them to network. With the public and private sectors and seeking to benefit from external projects, in order to serve the community and the nation.
