A meeting was held between Isra University, represented by Professor Dr. Mona Hindiyeh, Dr. Muawiyah Al-Nsour, and engineer Faten Al-Sarayrah, and the German Energy Academy affiliated with Al-Hussein Technical University (one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation), represented by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Tariq Tutanji, the Director of the Academy, Engineer Hamza Baqa’i, and Engineer Maha Al-Hiyari. To discuss ways of cooperation in the field of technical training accredited in Germany, Which is supervised by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Egypt. The meeting discussed a number of important topics related to technical training, financing programs, and enhancing cooperation between the institutions concerned. It was also agreed on a set of main points that will form future work axes. The importance of practical training that will prepare students to develop the practical skills necessary for the local and German labor market was emphasized. Practical training will constitute 70% of the training period, which enhances the students’ ability to gain the required technical expertise. At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of joint cooperation between the concerned parties was emphasized to ensure the success of the training program and achieve the project objectives. Clear action steps were also identified to implement the next phase, emphasizing the necessity of continuous communication and exchange of experiences between the participating institutions.
