Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Musa Hamed, President of the University, and in line with the university’s vision and mission, which emphasizes that the student is the focus of the educational process, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a welcome meeting for new students for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Hamed, President of the University for new students, praised the students’ efforts in taking the first step towards building their future and achieving their ambitions. He stressed the importance of this stage, which represents a qualitative shift in the student’s life through the learning journey. He urged students to actively participate in student activities and events, whether organized by the university internally or in cooperation with external parties, because of their role in enhancing the university experience.
He stated that the university works to provide a sound educational and social environment that supports innovation and leadership, and gives students opportunities to put forward new ideas and realize them on the ground, in addition to providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to keep pace with the needs of the labor market.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of creating an account on the LinkedIn platform, as it is an essential tool for professional communication, allowing students to build a wide network of relationships with experts and professionals in their fields, which contributes to enhancing their future opportunities and giving them a clear vision of the labor market and its requirements, expressing his thanks for choosing them. Isra University is a station of excellence in knowledge and empowerment.
At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Bilal Al-Sakarneh (Dean of Student Affairs) answered the students’ questions and inquiries related to volunteer work, participation in student parties, and sports activities, and learned about all the work in the Deanship of Student Affairs and related sports facilities.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting witnessed the presence of a number of deans, department heads, and members of the teaching and administrative bodies, in an atmosphere aimed at enhancing communication and providing the necessary support to students at the beginning of their university career.
