His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamed, President of the University, received in his office His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Shammari (Saudi Cultural Attaché) in the presence of Dr. Hammad Al-Najadat (Academic Affairs) and Mr. Qasim Al-Jazi (Public Relations) at the Saudi Cultural Attaché, in the presence of Professor Dr. Inshad Jumaa (Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs ) and Dr. Aseel Al-Shbeekat (Director of Cultural and Public Relations).

 

 

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamed, President of the University, welcomed and talked about the establishment of the university, its faculties, academic programs, research projects and future plans, which include the development of new specializations that keep pace with the tremendous development in all sciences.

 

Noting that the university always seeks to open horizons of cooperation in all academic and research fields with the sisterly Arab countries in general and educational institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular, in a way that advances the distinguished relations between the two countries, noting that the university obtained American international accreditation for the faculty of Pharmacy ,the faculty of Allied Medical Sciences (specialization in physical therapy), The faculty of Nursing obtained the American international accreditation after covering and testing all international standards, and continuing to advance academic excellence and quality of education.

 

The university seeks American international accreditation for the rest of the faculties  to excel in knowledge and empowerment. Improving the university’s global classifications is to enhance its international reputation, enhance international networking, spread the culture of classification among its cadres, enhance its participation in various prestigious and well-known international classifications, and its constant endeavor to provide all necessary and essential facilities to students from sisterly Arab countries.

 

In turn, His Excellency Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Shammari praised the scientific level that distinguishes Jordanian universities, including Isra University, and thanked Prof.Dr. Mohammad Hamed for his keenness to communicate and his constant endeavor to deepen ways of cooperation between the university and all...

In a related context, His Excellency Professor Dr. Al-Shammari met with the Saudi students, to check on the students’ academic conditions and the extent of their integration with the university community, and discussed with them the most prominent needs and requirements that guarantee their academic excellence at the university, and urged them to participate in the activities and events held within the university.

 

Dr. Sabreen Al-Halalma (Assistant Dean of Student Affairs) also pointed out the importance of volunteer work for students and urged them to participate in volunteer work, whether inside or outside the university, because it has a constructive role in refining students’ personalities through the “We” platform, as it is one of the requirements for graduation by completing volunteer work hours (48) hour.

 

At the end of the visit, His Excellency the Saudi attaché thanked the university administration for the good reception and presentation made to him about the university, stressing the necessity of continuing meetings in the future to discuss cooperation prospects that are beneficial to both parties.
