Within the framework of promoting academic excellence and supporting young engineering competencies, the Jordanian Engineers Association organized a ceremony honoring top academics and students in engineering specializations in Jordanian universities, at the Professional Unions Complex under the patronage of Engineer Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi, President of the Jordanian Engineers Association.

 The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the faculty of Engineering at Isra University, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Mona Hindiyya, who received a shield of appreciation for her distinguished efforts in supporting engineering education. Outstanding students from the college were also honored as follows:

 Architecture: Student Ahmed Talab Wahib Al-Tani and student Heba Youssef Hammad.

 Civil Engineering: Student Muayyad Ahmed Khattab and Student Muhannad Daman Jawhar Al-Kharisha.

 Communications and Electronics Engineering: Student Anas Ramez Muhammad Rahhal and student Moataz Naji Muhammad Al-Hamarsha.

 Renewable Energy Engineering: Student Muhammad Nour Akram Shalbaya and Student Abdullah Muhammad Youssef Abdullah.

 During the ceremony, Engineer Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi stressed the importance of cooperation between the union and academic institutions to enhance engineering education and raise the efficiency of graduates to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by academics and students in achieving excellence and innovation, pointing to the effective role of these achievements in the process of national construction and development.

This honor comes within the union’s keenness to strengthen partnerships with Jordanian universities and encourage students to achieve more achievements that reflect excellence in engineering education in the Kingdom.
