The Dean of the faculty of Nursing, professor Dr. Wafiqa Abdel-Rahim Zahir, met the new students, on 12/11/2024, in the presence of the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Sabreen Al-Halaima, where the Dean of the faculty indicated in her welcoming speech that all students are equal in rights and duties, and that no one will be deprived of the fruits of his/her effort, diligence. The faculty, with all its facilities and services, is for the students and their benefit, and the more they maintain it the more it serves them and benefits them, whether that includes laboratories, devices and equipment, and everything provided by the university or other institutions such as hospitals and health centers with which the college cooperates in completing the educational process. The nursing profession is of a special nature, the most important of which are two elements that cannot be performed without, which are: high scientific and practical competence, and professional ethics.
It is worth noting that the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs was introduced to the “We” platform and volunteer work, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Nursing for Quality Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Othman was introduced to the vision, mission, and goals of the College of Nursing, and the heads of the academic departments, A. D. Shalabiya Abu Zaid and A. D. Ali Al-Amouri introduced them to their departments and the faculty members in each. The distinguished students were also invited to appear before the new students and congratulate them so that they could be an example for the new students to follow. They are: Amjad bint Muhammad Al-Ruwaili (average 94.9), Kholoud bint Hilal Al-Ruwaili (94.1), Dania Mahmoud Al-Jaidi (94.1), Osama Mamdouh (89.8), Rahaf Saqr Arabs (89.2), Fatima Khaled Al-Qudsa (88.3).
