As part of the efforts of the Women's Empowerment Center at Isra University to achieve the university's mission in developing society and promoting equality and social justice, the center organized, in cooperation with the Khreibet Al-Souq Charitable Women's Association, the Women's Economy Foundation, and OXFAM, two training workshops entitled: "The Rights of Working Women in Jordanian Legislation According to the Latest Amendments", in the presence of Dr. Mayada Abu Jaber (CEO of the Women's Economy Foundation), Ms. Tamam Al-Ajaleen (President of the Khreibet Al-Souq Charitable Women's Association), Ms. Nadia Ismail (Project Manager at the Association), Professor Dr. Inshad Juma (Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs and International Relations), Dr. Shatha Al-Assaf (Director of the Women's Empowerment Center), and Dr. Aseel Al-shbeekat(Director of the Department of Cultural and Public Relations).

 The two workshops aimed to raise awareness among university students about the rights of working women in the Jordanian Labor Law, while highlighting the recent amendments to Articles 69 and 29 of the law.

Presented by Dr. Hiam Al-Shawabkeh, the event witnessed great interaction from the students, as the number of attendees reached 120 male and female students. The two workshops concluded with student interventions that enriched the discussion and reflected their awareness and interest in the presented content.

 This initiative comes within the context of the center's vision aimed at empowering women in various fields, and building a society based on protecting rights and preventing discrimination.
