The Community Service and Cultural Activities Committee at the faculty of Science at Isra University organized a scientific visit for Chemistry Department students to the cement factory in the Manasir Industrial Complex in the Al-Qatrana area, under the supervision of Dr. Manal Al-Khabas and Research and Teaching Assistant Ghada Idris. The visit aimed to link the theoretical aspect that students receive in classrooms with the practical reality in the industry, in addition to enhancing students' knowledge of the work environment in the industrial sector. The visit included an introductory tour during which those in charge of the factory provided a detailed explanation of the raw materials used in the cement industry, and the different stages of its manufacture in its various types. Students also had the opportunity to view the laboratory experiments and scientific analyses conducted during the production processes, while highlighting the procedures adopted to preserve the environment and adhere to environmental requirements and laws regulating the operation process
