His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hamed, President of Isra University, met in his office with Dr. Nisreen Al-Qaisi, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Palestine Polytechnic University on Sunday, 1/23/2025, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Wafiqa Abdul Rahim Zahir. This meeting came during the visit organized by the two Faculties of Nursing with the aim of exchanging academic experiences and conducting joint scientific research between them, and benefiting from the capabilities available to them in serving the educational process, especially by employing the available technological means in serving the educational process remotely in line with the geographical distance between the two faculties. His Excellency the President praised this cooperation that enhances the quality of higher education, supports scientific research, and raises the status of nursing faculties locally and globally.
It is worth noting that the establishment of the Bachelor's Program in the Faculty of Nursing at Palestine Polytechnic University began in 2020, and the university was established in the city of Hebron in 1978. The university is a member of the Association of Arab Universities, the Association of Islamic Universities, and the International Association of Universities, and has strong cooperative relations with many Arab and international academic and community institutions. The meeting was attended by the heads of departments, Dr. Khalaf Awad, Head of the Department of Nursing Sciences at Palestine Polytechnic University, and Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Amouri, Head of the Advanced Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing at Isra University. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Nisreen Al-Qaisi presented the Palestine Polytechnic University Shield to the Faculty of Nursing at Isra University.
