Isra University signed a memorandum of understanding with BIM Lab, represented by its Executive Director, Engineer Shaker Khalif, to provide advanced training opportunities for students in the fields of engineering and modern technologies, and enhance their practical skills in line with labor market requirements.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Musa Hamed, President of Al-Isra University, in the presence of Professor Dr. Inshad Juma, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs and International Projects; Professor Dr. Mona Hindiyeh, Dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. Aseel Al-Shabikat, Director of Public Relations; and Dr. Muawiya Al-Nsour, Dr. Muhannad Gharaibeh, and Engineer Faten Al-Sarayrah from the College of Engineering. Engineer Shaker Khalif, Executive Director of BIM Lab, and Engineer Sarah Al-Rousan from BIM Lab were also present, along with a number of university professors.
The agreement includes providing specialized training programs for students of the College of Engineering in various fields of modern technology, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques and the use of advanced engineering software. This initiative also aims to enhance students' professional and technical capabilities by integrating theoretical aspects with practical applications, preparing them for the labor market with high efficiency. The University President expressed the importance of this agreement, which contributes to strengthening the partnership between the university and leading institutions in the engineering field. He explained that cooperation with BIM Lab is an important step in developing students' skills and providing them with the technical knowledge necessary to keep pace with developments in the labor market. He also emphasized that this initiative comes within the framework of Isra University's ongoing efforts to develop its academic and technical programs to serve students and the local community.
For his part, Engineer Shaker Khalif emphasized the importance of cooperation with Isra University in the field of technical engineering training, noting that this agreement will contribute to developing students' skills in modern BIM technologies and introducing them to the latest trends in the construction industry. He added that BIM Lab seeks to provide a distinguished educational environment for students, enabling them to gain practical experience that contributes to their qualifications for the local and international labor market.
This agreement is part of Isra University's strategy to enhance cooperation with private sector institutions, contributing to the graduation of qualified personnel who contribute to building the national economy and meeting the needs of the labor market.
