Isra University, in the presence of His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamed, President of the University, organized a solidarity stand in support of His Majesty King Abdullah II's positions, may God protect him and preserve him, and in rejection of any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause at the expense of Jordan and its national constants.
The event witnessed wide participation from members of the teaching and administrative bodies and students, who expressed their pride and support for His Majesty's efforts in protecting the rights of the Palestinian people, and rejecting all attempts aimed at liquidating their just cause.
In his speech, His Excellency the President of the University stressed the university's firm position in supporting national and humanitarian issues, emphasizing the importance of national solidarity in facing challenges, and adhering to the Jordanian constants led by His Majesty the King with wisdom and competence.
The university also stressed its absolute support for the firm national positions and its rallying around the wise Hashemite leadership, which continues its efforts to protect the holy sites and defend the Palestinian cause, and confront any attempts aimed at obliterating the Palestinian identity or changing its historical features.
During the stand, the participants renewed their affirmation of solidarity with the Palestinian people and their rejection of all forms of displacement and attacks on their legitimate rights, stressing that Jordan will remain a strong support in defending truth and justice.
The university stressed the need to respect international legitimacy decisions and reject any attempts aimed at circumventing or undermining the rights of the Palestinian people under any pretext. It also stressed its rejection of any ideas related to an alternative homeland, displacement or settlement, while preserving the Jordanian national identity.
