On the occasion of Jordanian National Flag Day, His Excellency Professor Mohammad Hamed, President of the University, sponsored the Jordanian flag-raising ceremony at the Flag Square. The ceremony was attended by deans, directors, department heads, faculty and administrative staff, and students. The ceremony was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

His Excellency the President of the University congratulated the attendees on this precious national occasion, emphasizing that the Jordanian flag embodies the symbolism of belonging to the homeland and love for its pure soil. It also expresses pride in national identity and loyalty to the Hashemite throne under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and His Crown Prince.

The celebration included several segments, including the national anthem, and the Jordanian flag was raised high in the university campus amidst an atmosphere of patriotic enthusiasm. Professor Hashem Manna recited a patriotic poem expressing the love of Jordan and the pride Jordanians have in their nation's flag. The poem began with:

"Greet it in the morning and the evening,

In the smiles of the daisies and the fragrance,

O emblem of majesty and beauty,

And pride in the hills."

Student Nimer Al-Zoubi then delivered a speech in which he emphasized:

"Jordanians, both men and women, have dedicated themselves to their homeland out of love and loyalty, and they will continue to uphold their pledge. This embodies the strong relationship between the components of the Jordanian state."

Student Lujain Abu Khadra also delivered a patriotic speech expressing Jordanian youth's pride in their national identity and their loyalty to their country and leadership.

At the conclusion of the celebration, prayers were offered for God to protect Jordan and its leader, to perpetuate the blessings of security and stability upon our homeland, and for His Majesty's flag to remain flying high in the sky of glory and pride.
