As part of the university's celebrations of the 79th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and under the generous patronage of His Excellency the University President, Professor Mohammed Hamed, the Deanship of Student Affairs/Sports Activities Division organized a friendly football match between the Egyptian and Saudi communities on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the university's five-a-side football field.
The match was attended by both officials and fans, including the Dean of Student Affairs, several faculty deans, and members of the faculty and administrative staff, along with a crowd of students who created a special and enthusiastic atmosphere. The match ended with the Egyptian community team winning 2-0 over the Saudi community team.
This event is part of the university's efforts to strengthen cultural and social ties between students of different nationalities and to instill the values of love, tolerance, and positive competition through sports.
The match concluded with a ceremony honoring both teams for their sportsmanship and active participation. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to the match referees in recognition of their efforts in making this event a success.
