The Field Training Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Isra University, represented by committee member Ms. Rasha Abu Thawabeh, organized an educational field visit to the Dar Al-Dawa factory in Naour, Amman, for students of the "Practical Industrial Pharmacy" course. This visit is part of the committee's plan for field training, graduation projects, and the "Early Exposure" program.

 

The students were accompanied during the visit by Ms. Aya Daghash, the faculty's training course instructor, along with a group of academically distinguished students.

 

The visit included a rich scientific program that included: an introductory presentation about the Dar Al-Dawa factory and its industrial history; a lecture on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and its importance in the pharmaceutical industry; a field tour of the main factory to learn about the various departments and production lines;

 

a detailed explanation of the steps of pharmaceutical manufacturing, from raw materials to the final product.

 

The students demonstrated remarkable interaction during the visit, answering questions accurately and posing meaningful scientific inquiries. This gave the visit a remarkable scientific and interactive character, reflecting their academic preparation and interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

 

This visit comes within the framework of the Faculty of Pharmacy's commitment to linking theory with practice and enhancing students' skills and practical experience in line with labor market requirements.
