Under the patronage of His Excellency, the President of Isra University, Professor Mohammad Hamed, the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university organized a national celebration to mark the 79th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

 

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Central Badia Police, Brigadier General Sami Al-Raoud, Representative Fleeha Al-Khudair, Assistant Saudi Attaché, Mr. Musa Hassan Al-Zahrani; Ms. Mona Al-Samandar, Syrian Cultural Attaché; deans of facultys; members of the teaching and administrative staff; and a large gathering of university students.

His Excellency, Professor Mohammad Hamed, President of the University, expressed his pride and appreciation for this precious national occasion, emphasizing that independence is the fruit of the struggle and sacrifices of Jordanians under the leadership of the Hashemites, and an ongoing journey that requires awareness and dedication from everyone.

He emphasized the role of universities in instilling the values ​​of belonging and enlightened thought, praising His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision for reform and modernization, and emphasizing that everyone is a partner in building the nation. He also paid tribute to the martyrs and the Arab Army, calling for a renewal of the pledge to the homeland and loyalty to the Hashemite leadership, asking God to preserve Jordan and perpetuate its security and prosperity.

 

On behalf of the Isra University family, the university president extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the leader of the nation, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and to the Hashemite family, the Jordanian family, and the Arab nation, on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

 

The celebration included speeches by students from various Arab nationalities and a poem. The event also included honoring outstanding students, a musical performance by the Public Security Band, a dabkeh performance by the Greater Amman Municipality band, and the opening of the Arab Communities Exhibition and the photo exhibition, which includes national documents and paintings that embody the journey of the Hashemites and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and his loyal Crown Prince, which comes as an expression of sincere national belonging and loyalty towards our beloved Jordan and our victorious Hashemite leadership.
