Under the patronage of the President of Isra University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamed, the Faculty of Nursing at the university organized a professional oath taking ceremony for its graduating students for the first semester of 2024/2025. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, the Assistant President for Academic Affairs, the Dean of Student Affairs, the Director of Cultural and Public Relations, members of the faculty's faculty and administration, and the students' families.
His Excellency the President congratulated the graduates and their families, wishing them success. He praised the role of Isra University in shaping their personalities, providing them with a spark of knowledge and learning, equipping them with systematic thinking, and stimulating their potential for energy and creativity within a framework of objectivity and responsible scientific dialogue. He commended the efforts of the faculty's deanship and members of the faculty, administration, and clinical staff in helping the faculty's graduates achieve the highest levels of professional and ethical performance. In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Wafiqa Abdul Rahim Zahir, emphasized that the focus of work in the nursing profession is the patient, and that success in providing sound nursing care is the foundation of nursing work. She praised the outstanding achievements of the Faculty of Nursing, not only at the national level, but also at the regional and global levels. With the continuous support of senior management, the Faculty of Nursing was able to obtain a quality assurance certificate from the Higher Education Commission and its Quality Assurance, followed by obtaining international accreditation (ACEN), and then integrating the programs within the national framework, which allows for the greatest possible expansion in the labor market for nursing graduates and competition for job opportunities.
In their speech, on behalf of the graduating students, the students expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the university and the faculty, which provided them with all forms of support and provided them with the necessary skills.
