The faculty of Arts is proud to be equipped with state-of-the-art digital language laboratories that help language and interpreting teachers deliver classroom and self-study activities improving their students’ communication and interpreting skills. The high-tech software, latest version of SmartClass by Robotel, along with the brand new computer hardware were implemented in 2017.
To guarantee the maximum benefit of the up-to-date labs, intensive training sessions were held by IT experts for the language and interpreting instructors at the faculty on the optimal use of the multi-purpose installed programs.
These modern labs are used for teaching second and foreign languages, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting.
Today, with such advanced IT facilities, teachers are provided with complete language class management capabilities helping them train and guide students in a technology-rich “smart classroom” environment that may include BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and/or one-to-one programs
