Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Dear Students,
The rise of the College of Arts coincided with the dawn of knowledge at Isra University in 1991. This compelling association between of the university and the college stems from the university’s belief in the enlightening, educational, and awareness-raising role of the College of Arts and its effective contribution in shaping of the university student’s harmonious personality in line with the requirements of the local, Arab, and international labor markets.
The Faculty of Arts is an academically highly reputed one because it is equipped with top-notched educational tools, accompanied by a qualified and trained academic staff, who perform their roles: academic, scientific research, and serve the local community, in the best possible way with confidence and competence.
The college's vision lies in excellence and creativity in education and scientific research in all disciplines. Its mission is to create a safe, stable, fertile and fruitful educational environment, that aims to discover the potentials in our students and work to maximize, improve and enhance them. It also aims to spot the weaknesses and works to reduce their effects.
The College of Arts is based on five main pillars: the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, which includes the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs; the Department of English Language and Literature, which includes the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs; the Department of English Language/Translation, which includes the Bachelor’s program; the Department of Psychology, which includes the Bachelor’s program; and the Department of Service Courses, which is responsible for providing the university’s elective, compulsory, and remedial requirements to all students.
The College of Arts, with all its departments, is keen to improve and enhance its outputs. The college pledges to remain a shining scientific beacon and a role model in learning, teaching, scientific research, and community service.
