Fostering a pioneering educational environment in teaching, research and creative activity to improve the quality of the learning outcomes and to enhance local community service.

Objectives
1- Promoting moral values and raising awareness of their role in social cohesion.
2- Providing realistic solutions for social problems
3- Enriching the linguistic, literary, critical, and rhetorical skills to enhance the status of Arabic language and literature.
4- Equipping the students with the essential English language and literature skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
5- Providing the students with theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of translation.
6- Teaching basic knowledge in the University requirements.
7- Developing the professional skills of faculty staff.
8- Advancing scientific research of teaching staff members and students.
9- Offering postgraduate programs of high-quality methodology to develop the scientific knowledge of society. Objectives

Goals of the Faculty of Arts

The First Goal: To Build up a strategic plan that represents the vision, mission, and values of the Faculty of Arts.
The Second Goal: To develop the governance system in the Faculty of Arts by enhancing the principles of institutional work, and spreading the culture of integrity, transparency, equal opportunities, and teamwork.
The Third Goal: To introduce high quality distinguished academic programs in the various Majors of the Faculty of Arts that meet the needs and requirements of the labor market and to use the latest technologies and methods in education.
The Fourth Goal: To develop scientific research in the various Majors of the Faculty of Arts, and to promote academic innovation and entrepreneurship by attracting and developing research competencies, and providing financial and material support for researchers.
The Fifth Goal: To develop the financial resources in the Faculty of Arts and to improve the professional capabilities of the human resources by providing training and qualification opportunities and performance evaluation mechanisms.
The Sixth Goal: To develop the students’ services in the Faculty of Arts and to enable students to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market. In addition, to enhance the role of the Graduates’/ Alumni Follow-up Office in supporting students after graduation, achieving continuous communication, and providing training and employment opportunities for them.
The Seventh Goal: To contribute in fulfilling community aspirations about the Faculty of Arts, and to enhance partnerships with institutions and universities at the local, regional, and global levels.
The Eighth Goal: To obtain the local quality assurance certificate at the level of the Faculty of Arts and all its Majors.
