The Department of Management Information Systems was established in the Faculty of Business in the academic year 2002-2003. The department obtained special accreditation at the beginning of the academic year 2003/2004. The Department contributes with the rest of the Faculty of Business departments activities to provide scientific qualifications, especially in the field of management information systems. In a way that meets the needs of the market.
The activities of the MIS department provide topics such as Strategic Information Systems, Knowledge Management, communication technology, programming languages, Database Systems and others. In a way that meets the needs of the market.
Students will understand and be able to gain a fall knowledge about field of information management and computer systems.

The department aims at providing potential university supplies and purchases at the appropriate time and cost, serving the various parties at the university including faculties, departments, administrative departments, and centers, and establishing modern warehouses utilizing advanced systems.
Aims:
- Maintaining the university’s assets.
- Overseeing the reception, inspection and quantification of material, and ensuring its compliance with the required specifications.
- Delivering all university departments and administrative department’s needs and requirements.
- Keeping an appropriate warehouses stock to meet the university’s demands.
The Department of Supplies and Purchases was established in 1991. It is viewed as one of the vital departments of Isra University. Its duties can be summed up as follows:
- Securing faculties, departments, and administrative departments with their requirements of furniture, stationary, technical apparatus, and laboratory equipment.
- Procurement and follow-up of construction material.
- Procurement and follow-up of buses spare parts and the garage’s requirements.
- Procurement and follow-up of transportation and heating fuels.
- Procurement and follow-up of plantations.
- Maintaining university property and preparing periodical reports regarding the state and value of related bids.
- Monitoring contractors; issuing formal notification letters, overseeing follow up communication, and ensuring fulfillment of commitments and the provision of required material, equipment, and services in due time.
- Performing a periodic inventory of university assets.
- Securing the required equipment for the university’s celebrations of different occasions.
- Supervising warehouses’ stocks and overseeing inventory dispersion and record-keeping.
- Carrying out any duties assigned to the department by the university.
The Department of Supplies and purchases was established in 1991, and is one of the most important and vital departments in Al Isra University.
Its activities are includes in the following matters:
* Providing the requirements of the faculties, departments and administrative departments of furniture, stationery, materials,
* Follow-up construction and secure them.
* Follow-up of buses and car accessories and ensure the follow-up buses and heating and secure them.
* Monitoring and securing agricultural materials
* Maintain and supervise the university property and prepare periodic reports on the status and value of tenders.
* Preparing the official reporting books for the contractors and following up the communication with them to implement their obligations and follow up the dates of the required supply of materials, equipment and services.
* Periodic inventory of university assets.
* Providing the necessary equipment for the celebrations of the university in different occasions.
* Supervising the contents of the warehouses, organizing their disbursement and keeping their records.
* To carry out the duties of the Presidency of the University.
