The Human Resources (HR) Department is one of the central departments in the University that is principally concerned with employing qualified, experienced and skilled people in the university’s colleges and departments and with providing support and advice to the university’s staff, managers and employees throughout the period of their work.

Department of Banking and Financial Management

Overview:

The department was established in October 1991, to offer the Bachelor degree in both the morning program and the evening program. To fulfill the requirements of the program, each student should complete (132) credit hours successfully, with a minimum cumulative rate of 60% in a minimum period of three years and up to nine years. The Bachelor degree program consists of (21) credit hours of university requirements, (6) credit hours of university elective courses, (24) credit hours of faculty requirements, (66) credit hours of department requirements, (6) credit hours of elective courses, (9) credit hours of supportive courses from other departments in the Faculty of Business. The student is not allowed to absent for more than 15% of the total credit hours per each registered course.

The General Objectives of the Department

  1. Provide the students with the updated academic and technical knowledge
  2. Provide the students with the most-in-demand practical skills in conformity with the local, regional and international markets.
  3. Provide the distinguished students with academic scholarships to complete their postgraduate studies in the field of their specialization in local and foreign Universities.

1.       Generalization of the names of the officials in the University to all formal institutions and Universities in Jordan at the beginning of each academic year, updating it and securing it to the intended institutions.

2.       Preparation, following and updating all formal invitations for various festivals of the university.

3.       Preparation of invitation cards in religious occasions with the name of university president.

4.       Preparation of visits held by formal and popular delegations and by university students and arranging a programme for such visits.

5.       Participation of informative activities which are concerned with university propagation on local and international level.

6.       Participation in the registration of new students.

7.       Reception and farewell  of university guests and preparing  of programme  for their visits.

8.       participation and cooperation in publishing brochures for the university, in a way that reflects the mission, vision and the basic values of the university.

9.       Reception of guests and delegations visiting the university during conferences from Jordan airport and securing an appropriate Hotel for them.

The Section monitors the following:

1-      Activities of the president, deans, faculty members and administrative departments.

2-      Academic, cultural, athletic, and Activities inside and outside the campus of the university, including festivals, art exhibitions, and other ceremonies.

3-      New and under-construction buildings of the university, in addition to a variety of scenes from the campus and its facilities.

4-      Monitoring the programs/ courses conducted by the faculties and the consultative centre of the university.

5-      Photographing the graduates, members of the teaching staff, and the workers for purposes of issuing the annual Book of the University.

6-      Photographing the guests and visiting delegates and organizing a special archive of these events.

7-      Providing the media with photos of activities, facilities, and events of the university.

8-      Participating in the Committee of Mustering New Students.

9-      Participating in the Committee of Graduating.

10-  Processing the publication of the annual University Book and following up the issuing of Isra News Bulletin in print.

11-  Reception of university guests in Amman Airport and seeing them to their hotels.

12-  Participating in the propagation activities for publicizing the university inside and outside the country, as in exhibitions and universities. 

 

Tasks Of the internal relations and activities unit:

  1. Taking part in the organizing committees for conferences, symposium, exhibitions and festivals held at the University.
  2. Taking part in committees in charge of organizing convocations, events. Inside and outside the University.
  3. Organizing all sorts of visits official, public, and students to the University.   
  4. Activating the promotion process jointly with the Quality Assurance Unit to guarantee quality.
  5. Providing local newspaper with the University news (condolences and compliments)
  6. Taking care of catering services.
  7. Coordinating with the University security to welcome visitors.
  8. Organizing all events held by the University faculties and departments.
  9. Taking care of medals and appreciation certificates awarded by the University
  10.  Coordinating with the students Deanship regarding all activities and events held at the auditorium.
  11. Coordinating with the computer center regarding all arrangements necessary for activities and events.
