Vision

The services department  undergoes constant renovation and each branch is updated on an ongoing basis to keep pace with the evolution of our surrounding communities.


Mission

To raise the level of services at the university as much as possible and the efficiency of workers in the department to provide the best services for workers and staff.

The Services Department is one of the most important departments of the University, It is a fundamental pillar in the foundation of the university as it undertakes multiple tasks in the university campus including:

  • 1- Organizing transportation and movement of buses to and from the university.
  • 2- Maintaining the readiness of buses to serve of students and staff of the university.
  • 3- Controlling the internal security of the University and the preservation of the property of the university and students.
  • 4- Securing the university at night and during holidays.
  • 5- Maintaining cleanliness of the university faculties and Yards.
  • 6- Maintaining the Green scenery of the university and its flora.
  • 7- Keeping the safety and security of the university through the follow-up matters of public safety and civil defense.
  • 8- Helping staff to complete administrative works.
  • 9- Maintaining the university facilities in a good condition and improving buildings.

 

All these tasks and other services are carried out by the department’s branches:

The Department of Services started as an independent unit established in conjunction with the founding of the university in 1991. It seeks to provide the best possible services for workers in the university and its students, as well as guests and visitors. The department of services is considered a link between all departments and colleges of the university. We always aspire to raise the level of services provided to students and staff, as is our motto: we cherish you and work for you.

Director of Public Services

 

In line with the growth strategy outlined by the faculty of Business since its establishment in 1991-1992, which prioritized establishing fundamental specializations in administrative and financial sciences, the Marketing Department was established in 2002-2003. Its primary goal was to produce professionals in marketing to meet the demands of the Jordanian and national markets, while also contributing to the development of the Jordanian national economy and Arab economies. In response to the technological advancements and digital transformations in the field of marketing, the Digital Marketing Department was inaugurated at the start of the academic year 2023-2024. This initiative aims to keep abreast of technological shifts and equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the evolving job market.

Furthermore, the department seeks to nurture the holistic development of its students' personalities within the Marketing Department by enhancing their ability to make informed decisions when addressing performance and marketing challenges. These skills are honed through the department's academic and educational programs, as well as through training courses implemented during the students' tenure.

Program Objectives:

  1. Preparing cadres capable and qualified to work in the field of digital marketing.
  2. Qualifying students to deal with marketing issues related to the labor market locally and regionally
  3. Enabling students to develop a wide range of practical skills in the fields of digital marketing.
  4. Providing students with the required skills and knowledge necessary to understand marketing aspects in the business environment.
  5. Empowering students with the necessary capabilities to deal with changes and developments in business markets.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO’s):

  1. Clarifying methodologies and theories in the field of digital marketing.
  2. Preparing, evaluating and analyzing data and using technological and digital software to help make appropriate marketing decisions.
  3. Using critical thinking and problem solving in digital marketing.
  4. Apply effective communication skills in various fields, orally and in writing.
  5. Working within one team.
  6. Applying the dimensions of social and ethical responsibilities and legislation related to the business environment.
